Superstar Dhanush Leaves Mumbai with Sons Amid Security Controversy
Mumbai, 26th June 2024: Actor Dhanush was seen departing from Mumbai late Tuesday night, accompanied by his two sons and security personnel. Earlier in the day, he had been filming his upcoming movie Kubera at Juhu Beach. The departure followed an incident where his bodyguards were recorded on camera pushing away fans from the film set.
In a video shared by Viral Bhayani, Dhanush greeted photographers with a smile as he entered the airport. He was dressed in a white hoodie and matching joggers, holding a boarding pass.
Earlier, footage from the sets of Kubera circulated online, showing Dhanush walking towards the beach from his caravan while fans attempted to capture photos and videos. The actor’s security intervened forcefully, prompting criticism online.
This incident occurred shortly after a similar event involving Nagarjuna’s bodyguard at Mumbai airport, where a fan was pushed away aggressively. In a video shared by Bollywood Pap, Nagarjuna proceeded through the airport surrounded by security, ignoring the incident.
Kubera, directed by Telugu director Shekhar Kammula, continues filming in Mumbai. This marks the first collaboration between Dhanush and Nagarjuna in the film, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in significant roles. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for the film, slated for release in 2025.
