Mumbai University Set to Release First UG Merit List Today, Check Details

Mumbai, 13th June 2024: The University of Mumbai (MU) is set to release the first merit list for undergraduate (UG) admissions for the academic year 2024–25 today, June 13. According to the MU admission 2024 schedule, the university will publish the merit list by 5 PM on its official website—muugadmission.samarth.edu.in. Candidates who have passed their Class 12 board exams and have registered for MU admission counselling can check the seat allotment using their login credentials created during registration.

Candidates allotted a seat in the first round of MU UG admission 2024 must complete document verification between June 14 and June 20. They are also required to pay the seat acceptance fees and submit an undertaking form along with necessary documents.

Since the start of pre-admission online registration on May 25, a total of 2,50,453 students have applied online. Mumbai University (MU) has received 8,70,495 applications across various courses including full-time, part-time, and online programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral levels in diverse fields of study.

Eligibility criteria for Mumbai University UG Admission 2024 varies by program:

– Diploma: Candidates should have passed Class 10 from a recognized board.
– BCom and BA: Candidates must have cleared Class 12 exams from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
– BA Library Science and BEd: Requires a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
– BSc: Candidates should have passed Class 12 exams with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
– BFA: Requires a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 (45% for reserved categories).
– BPA: Candidates should have cleared Class 12 exams from a recognized board.
– BA and MA Pali Integrated: Requires completion of Class 10 or a 3-year diploma from an approved institute.
