Mumbai Resident’s Flipkart Order Delays Slippers for 6 Years: Internet Reacts

Mumbai, 27th June 2024: A Mumbai resident, Ahsan Kharbai, recently had a peculiar experience with Flipkart, where he received a call six years after placing an order for Sparx slippers in May 2018. Despite the order being marked as shipped with a scheduled delivery for the next day, the slippers never arrived. The Flipkart app continually displayed the status as “arriving today,” a situation that persisted unchanged over the years.

Taking to the social media platform X, Ahsan shared his story along with a screenshot of the order history, which garnered significant attention, drawing humorous responses from users. One user joked about the possibility of using Internet Explorer to access Flipkart, implying the outdated status.

In his post, Ahsan mentioned that the order was a cash-on-delivery transaction, so he did not pursue further action when the slippers didn’t arrive. He explained that he clicked on the order a day before Flipkart contacted him, possibly prompting their call.

Following his post, Flipkart’s customer support contacted Ahsan, apologizing for the long-standing issue and inquiring about any prior communication from their logistics team regarding the undelivered order.
